Essay

The dissertation represents a theoretic-experimental study of the problem of multicultural education of senior pupils in the interaction of general education institutions and art museums. The state of the problem under research is analyzed; the content of the concept 'multicultural education of senior pupils' is revealed; the essence of multicultural education of personality is specified. The criteria, indices and levels of multicultural education of senior pupils are defined. Pedagogical conditions of multicultural education of senior pupils in the interaction of secondary schools and art museums are substantiated: organization of individual and group activities of senior pupils based on personality-oriented education; organizational-methodical provision of the internal and external interaction of general education institutions and art museums; conformity of out-of-class museum forms of multicultural education of senior pupils with the themes of art culture lessons; usage of the art museums' informational space in order to form senior pupils' cognitive-value attitude to the world and the dialogue of different culture. A technology of multicultural education in the interaction of general education institutions and art museums is developed introduced through creation of an open educational space for secondary schools and art museums with an integrational platform of their interaction.
