Object - common discourse as a sphere of cognitive and speech activity of the Russian language speaker; aim - reconstruction of the cognitive content of discursive instance of the subject of ordinary discourse in Russian linguistic culture; methods - holistic method, observation method, descriptive method, contextual analysis method, structural method, synthesis method, methods of mapping and cluster analysis; novelty - first comprehended the phenomenon of discourse in terms of linear and non-linear structure; summarizes the existing interpretation of the term "discourse" in categories of linearity and nonlinearity; proposed a universal algorithm of differentiation of discursive formats; defined and interpreted categorical structures ensure the integrity of common discourse as a separate format; grounded the connection of ontological foundations of discursive stratification and, in particular, the phenomenon of common discourse with non-linear principle of the integrity organization; built categorical apparatus and methods of reconstruction of common discourse entity instance with considering of its correlates: the subject of common consciousness and everyday life; on a material of Russian National Corpus of Language accomplished the analysis of cognitions of the Russian language speakers associated with the discursive authority of the subject of common discourse and objectified in stereotypical models of identity: the base model "common person" and its variations, models of "inconsiderable person" and "middle person"; identified private and generalizing cognitive features in their relationship to each model; constructed cognitive maps of models the subject of common discourse related to cognition "common person", "inconsiderable person" and "middle person"; identified dominant meanings of conceptosphere associated with common discourse: "the part and the whole", "person and people", "I and the world", "own world"; estimation meanings: "the norm", "the inconsiderableness, the insignificance"; "own and others", existentials "work", "care", "penury", "unfreedomness"; demonstrated effects of convergence, attraction, oscillations of meanings in the conceptual space of common discourse; results - main provisions and conclusions of the thesis can be used in the teaching of courses bound on description of the common discourse of the Russian language, courses devoted to the theory and the philosophy of language, in special courses on discoursology, cognitive linguistics, cultural linguistics, for writing term papers related to issues of discoursology, cultural linguistics, cognitive science; the field of application - Linguistics.
