Object: the process of forming socially active position of pupils in extracurricular activities of vocational-technical schools; purpose: to prove theoretically and to check experimentally social and pedagogical conditions of forming socially active position of pupils in extracurricular activities of vocational-technical schools; methods: comparative logical-system analysis of scientific literature, synthesis, systematization, comparison, generalization of scientific-theoretical material, survey, conversation, questioning, pedagogical observation, expert evaluation, pedagogical experiment, mathematical statistics; novelty: social and pedagogical conditions of forming socially active position of pupils in extracurricular activities of vocational-technical schools are theoretically proved, situation on structuring forms and methods of VTS out-of-class work on forming socially active position of pupils is improved; results: the technique of diagnosing level of socially active position of students, scientific and methodical support of seminars, trainings are developed for teachers of VTS concerning social design, realization of interactive technologies, partner communication, realization of problems on forming socially active position of students in socio-cultural area; branch – social pedagogics.
