Essay

The dissertation research is dedicated to the general historical and pedagogical analyses of the sex-role pupil's education in the native pedagogical theory and in the school practice during 1940-1950's that are discovered in the context of socio-cultural and political transformation of the given period. The following research explains the historiography of given problem; discovers the socio-cultural and scientific premises of origin and molding of the sex-role approach to the boy's and girl's sex-role education. In the research the modern state of the sex-role boy's and girl's education was analyzed with relation to gender by means of studying the new psychological and pedagogical literature; the methodology of gender analyses was improved in the historical retrospective. The dissertation research investigates the new approaches to the solution of the problem concerning the sex-role pupil's education during 1940-1950-s based on the gender analyses of the native historical and pedagogical experience, publications and archive materials of the given period. The dissertation research analyses the influence of socio-cultural and political transformations on the development of the main sex-role educational statements, reveals the main ideas and pedagogical approaches to the sex-role education and the experience of their realization in the school practical activities. Given research is based on the gender approach that enables to show the direct and hidden mechanisms of the sex-role socialization and typification by means of education process of that period.
