Essay

Thesis covers the research of transforming principles in design of vehicles for people with disabilities. The structural and typological classification of special vehicles is defined as well as vehicles for people with disabilities of internal (indoors), external (outdoors) and universal levels. The internal level includes muscular, electric and other wheelchairs. According to transformation in connection with spatial and temporal forms of matter the linear, lateral, radiant, and temporal transforming principles are defined and illustrated with practical examples. This developed by transforming principles metamodel of transportation for people with disabilities is supposed to help to fully integration of a person with disabilities into the social life.
