The thesis analyzes the system of marketing activities terms in the French language. The main attention is focused on the theoretical principles of terminology as a lexical and semantic subsystem of the general language; the determination of its conceptual and lexical inventory; the formulation of the basic methods of term system research; the identification and the analysis of the most popular tendencies of terminological derivation; grouping of the principal taxonomic features of terminology systemacy; the description of the semantic potential and functional peculiarities of terminological expressions; the differentiation of basic and supporting concepts system as well as the subconcepts of marketing activities term system; the presentation of terms corpus and its structural and semantic and system characteristics as a "passport".
