Object - native periodicals of the 1960s of the XXth century; the aim - on the basis of the holistic retrospective analysis of the problem articles of the national pedagogical journalism of the 1960s of the XXth century, to reveal the content, the specifics of the ideas of humanistic education as an essential factor of the progressive development of the pedagogical thought; methods - theoretical, comparative-historical, content-analysis of origins, origins' systematization and classification, prognostic; novelty - firstly, the leading pedagogical ideas of humanistic education that have been discussed on the pages of the periodical press in the 1960s of the XXth century are presented; scientists' humanistic ideas, displayed in the pedagogical journalism of the analyzed period, are elucidated; the value of the pedagogical journalism as a main repeater of the ideas of humanistic education in the stated period is grounded; the perspectives of the use of the pedagogically valuable experience of the humanization of education are determined; the essential characteristics of the pedagogical experience of implementing the ideas of humanistic education; the ways of its dissemination through conferences, meetings, pedagogical discussions, reflected in the materials of the pedagogical journalism; the systematization and the characteristics of the historiography of the problem according to groups got further development; the methodological foundations of the problem-thematic analysis of the pedagogical journalism as a historical-pedagogical origin are improved; results - the content and the specifics of the ideas of humanistic education, presented in the national pedagogical journalism in the 1960s of the XXth century, are revealed, that improved historical-pedagogical knowledge. The systematized factual material on the history of the pedagogical journalism is useful for further scientific-pedagogical researches. The study's scientific-theoretical results and findings can be used for the improvement and the extension of the content of the courses on history of pedagogy and pedagogical journalism, comparative pedagogy, philosophy of education; field - education.
