Chepeliev M. Modelling and economic effects assessment of domestic energy consumers' subsidization

The object: electricity, natural gas and heat energy markets. Aim: substantiation of methodological approaches and construction on their ground a model for consumer energy subsidies impact analysis in Ukraine, assessment of paths for subsidization policy improvement on electricity, natural gas and heat energy markets. Methods: the method of ordering and classification, comparative analysis and synthesis, retrospective analysis, modelling. Novelty: an approach to the representation of cross subsidization processes in the electricity sector was proposes and implemented within CGE models methodology; econometric estimates of the capital-labor substitution elasticities were received. Results were used for the preparation of scientific reports and analytical documents for the government authorities (Ministry of energy and coal industry of Ukraine, Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine). Field of application: energy sector.
