Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the biochemical substantiation of 5-FU effectiveness when intra-arterial and endolymphatic routes of its administration was used. It is found that the load of cells with high doses of 5-fluorouracil leads to inhibition of its enzyme (thymidinephosphorilaze) activity in 3-3.5 times. This is after 1 hour of administration within stomach tissue. It is shown that the source of pentozophosphate for activation of 5-FU in the stomach tissues is a nucleoside thymidine instead of uridine, inosine or ribose-5-phosphate. The concentrating process of 5-fluorouracil in lymphocytes was screened in in vitro experiments and in vivo.
