Essay

The dissertation is a theoretical and experimental study of the problem of polyart education of primary school children in the lessons of aesthetic cycle. The paper analyzes the state of elaboration of the problem of polyart education of primary school children in lessons of subjects of aesthetic cycle, defines the essence of polyart educatedness of a primary school pupil, clarifies the concept "polyart education" in the context of the research topic. The level of polyart education of primary school children is characterized according to the defined criteria and indicators. The following pedagogical conditions of polyart education of primary school children in the lessons of aesthetic cycle have been substantiated: orientation of educational process on the acquisition of the aesthetic values of art by younger students; the actualization of the educational potential of works of different art forms on the principles of integration; encouraging students to different types of student-centered art activities; making the lessons of the aesthetic cycle on the basis of emotional-semantic drama, in particular, with the use of textbooks. The methods of polyart education in primary school have been defined and implemented in the lessons of aesthetic cycle of secondary schools in close connection with various forms of extracurricular aesthetic and educational activities of students.
