Yarmak N. Scientific and educational activities of Olexander Fedorovych Muzychenko (1875 - 1937 yy.).

The dissertation deals with the complete analysis of scientific-pedagogical heritage of O. Muzychenko, the Ukrainian teacher-experimenter, the first Pedagogical museum director and the supporter of the complex system of studying. His course of life and social-historical factors of forming as a scientist and teacher have been researched. National upbringing in the family, getting of excellent education, the experience as a teacher, acquiring the theoretical and practical skills while working abroad and cooperation with famous Ukrainian teachers influenced the personality's formation of O. Muzechenko. The scientist's points of view concerning the new state system of education in Ukraine, the upbringing of nationally conscious young people have been analyzed. Further development and improving the national education system, development and implementation of new methods and forms based on the principle of humanism, integration and availability of teaching have been proved to be the leading ideas. Actual positions of his vision of usage the complex system of studying are considered. The development of the complex system became the base for modern knowledge integration, the aim of which is the development of creative personality. The importance of O. Muzychenko's pedagogical heritage has been proved and the ways of his ideas usage in modern educational establishments have been pointed out.
