Essay

The thesis is dedicated to a problem of health-preserving education of teenagers of the middle school during the educational process. Historical-philosophical sources of health-preserving education are analyzed and the essence of health-preserving education of teenagers of the middle school is specified. Criteria, indicators and levels of formation of health culture of teenagers of the middle school are characterized. The model of health-preserving education of teenagers of the middle school during educational process is developed and pedagogical conditions of health-preserving education of teenagers of the middle school during the educational process in rural and urban general educational establishments are defined, and also their efficiency is experimentally checked. The following pedagogical conditions of health-preserving education of teenagers of the middle school during the educational process are determined: ensuring the educational process with a substantial component on preservation of physical, social, mental and spiritual health, application of information and communication technologies in the course of health-preserving education of teenagers, andreadiness of pedagogues for realization of pedagogical conditions of health-preserving education.
