Yermolenko I. Compositional, Communicative and Pragmatic Construction of Daniel Pennac’s hard-boiled detective

The thesis focuses on studying compositional, communicative and pragmatic construction of Daniel Pennac’s detective texts. The research describes the theoretical basis for examining linguopoetic features of D. Pennac’s detective novels; defines the peculiarities of the frame structure of Daniel Pennac’s detective text; finds out role of the compositional elements in the semantic structure of the detective text; reveals peculiarities of the narrative space and narrative instance in D. Pennac’s detective text; determines and characterizes means and methods of modal information actualization in the author’s detective novels; demonstrates mechanisms of irony creation; identifies specificity of intertextual elements functioning on the different levels of Daniel Pennac’s detective text.
