Malanchiy M. Forming the personnel professional identity of the State Border Service of Ukraine

This thesis summarizestheoretical grounds of forming professional identity of the staffin the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and develops scientific conclusions and proposalsfor improving the management of this process in the practice ofstate management in Ukraine. In particular, a descriptive model of professional identityof the staff in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has been designed. Themain components of the model are a dynamic system of professional values and acquired professional competence, which consists of diagnostic, target, content and assessment units and contains the following functional components: cognitive, motivational, emotional-volitional, operational, reflexive. The model considers external and internal conditions and permits to outline the waysof improving formation and development of professional identity of the staffin the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine as well as professional competence profiles for top positions in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine according to the new standards of stateservice in Ukraine. The object of the research is professional activityof the staff in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The subject of the research is forming professional identity of the staff in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
