Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of creative self-expression of junior pupils of state-sponsored terapeutic boarding schools for children with physical health problems in the process of their artistic activity. The essence of the creative self-expression of junior pupils in the process of their artistic activity is disclosed and its stages are marked out. The potential of the artistic activity for activizing junior pupils? creativity is revealed. The criteria are set (emotional and motivational, cognitive, productive, communicative) and the levels distinguished (active creativity, situative creativity, stereotypic transmission) for the creative self-expression of state-sponsored terapeutic boarding school junior pupils in the process of their artistic activity. Pedagogical specifications have been grounded by the author and the technology of activization of the junior pupils' creativity in state-sponsored terapeutic boarding schools for children with physical health problems in the process of their cheative activity has been worked out.
