Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of development of artistic and creative activity of the senior preschool children by means of art. The concept of "artistic and creative activity of the senior preschool children" is specified; the educational possibilities of painting for the creative development of senior preschool children are analyzed. The criteria and development indicators of artistic and creative activity of the senior preschool children are defined; the manifestation levels of preschool children's artistic and creative activity are characterized. The pedagogical conditions for the development of art and creative activity of senior preschool children by means of painting in conditions of primary specialized art schools are theoretically substantiated; their effectiveness being experimentally tested.
