Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of biochemical mechanisms of pharmacological effects of agents used in the pathogenetic therapy of metabolic syndrome. Administration of the studied substances levels up the manifestations of the pathology model that is confirmed by the removal of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism violations. That is realised by a variety of mechanisms: sibutramine and "Dietressa" affect the alimentary component of the obesity through overeating prevention that is manifested by levelling hyperglycemia and hyperinsulinemia, normalization of proopiomelanocortin level in the hypothalamus, decrease in the hypercorticosteronemia severity.
