Gafych O. Economic-mathematical models and information technologies to manage oil and gas exploration projects

The thesis is devoted to development of economic-mathematical models to recognize and analyze ambiguities and results assessment of oil and gas prospecting upon balance of the risks related to information maintenance system for decision making in oil production project management. A system analysis for oil and gas exploration risks is carried out and certain economic-mathematical model to evaluate ambiguities of project parameters and related risks are proposed. It is substantiated a possibility for modeling and development of the technology of probabilistic assessment for technical-economic parameters and results of hydrocarbon exploration and development of oil and gas fields projects. It was scientifically proven the selection of expert analysis techniques to determine priority of the projects and their integral investment assessment. It is found factors indicating efficiency of capital investment upon risk conditions and principles how to model development alternatives for hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation projects.
