This thesis reveals the theory and methodology of gender approaches in a system of postgraduate pedagogic education in the end of XX - beginning of XXI century. Historiography, sources, scientific and theoretical foundations of research are highlighted. Gender approaches of the education in Ukraine and overseas in the end of 80s of XX century, and preconditions of forming of gender studies in Ukraine in XXI century are shown.
