Object of the research - national pedagogical press of the second half of the XXth. and the early XXI century; subject of the research - gender-related contents in the national pedagogical press of the second half of the XXth. and the early XXI century; the purpose of the research is to identify and prove the theoretical and practical principles of representation and interpretation of gender issues in the national pedagogical press in the second half of the XX and early XXI century on the basis of historical and pedagogical analysis taking into account social and political, social and economic, pedagogical factors in the context of the transformation of gender knowledge for its application in the theory and practice of gender approaches in education; methods of the research:general-scientific, documents' study, modeling method; scientific novelty of the research: historical and pedagogical analysis of gender issues is done including the characteristics of its stages and identification of its development; the method of identifying its representation and interpretation peculiaritiesy is developed; representation and interpretation peculiarities of gender issues in the national pedagogical press of the second half of the XXth. and the early XXI century are presented.
