Gorbach I. Communicative and Pragmatic Components of the Narrative Structure in Nicolas Fargues’ Novels

This thesis focuses on communicative and pragmatic components of the narrative structure in Nicolas Fargues’ novels. The theoretical basis for the study has been described and complex methodology for discovering narrative structure of the modern French text has been elaborated. Communicative components of the narrative structure in Nicolas Fargues’ novels have been determined. The narrative structure is represented by autodiegetic, homodiegetic and heterodiegetic narrators. Types of the character speech in the narrative structure have been identified. The essence of the narrative structure pragmatic component in Nicolas Fargues’ novels has been disclosed. Mechanisms of communicative and pragmatic components interaction in the narrative structure of Nicolas Fargues’ novels have been described.
