The thesis deals with the experimental study of antiulcer properties of phenosin - tablets based on bismuth subcitrate and aspen bark extract. It is found that phenosin at a dose of 50 mg/kg detects a wide range of pharmacological activity. It is proved that phenosin has an evident antiexudative, analgesic, antipyretic, reparative and capillaries-stabilising action and is not inferior to reference drug. It is established that phenosin at a dose of 50 mg/kg detects gastroprotective action, inhibits lipid peroxidation processes, positively influences on motor-evacuation function of the intestine in the acetylsalicylic ulcer model. In experimental model of ulcerative colitis phenosin exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer properties, normalizes body weight, rectal temperature of the animals, hematological and biochemical parameters, inhibits lipid peroxidation processes and recovers AOS of animals. Рhenosin reveals a marked protective effect on the state of intestine mucous membrane, increases the resistance of the intestinal wall and helps to restore the intestine mucous membrane, as evidenced histological studies of phenosin medicinal properties
