Thesis of Tozyuk E. Yu is dedicated to the experimental search and study of new substances that can increase physical endurance of the body in normal and complicated conditions. As a result of pharmacological screening, it was found that derivatives of 5-R-thio-tetrazol[1,5-c]quinazoline tend to increase efficiency of rats at different temperatures. Sodium 2-(tetrazol[1,5-c]quinazolin-5-ylthio)acetate (substance КВ-28) had the highest actoprotective activity among the test substances. This substance in ED50 at a dose of 1,7 mg/kg intraperitoneally significantly prevailed the reference substance 2-ethylthiobenzymidazol hydrobromide at a dose of 32 mg/kg intraperitoneally in acute stroke and chronic immobilization stress in terms of ability to improve the physical performance of rats and was compared with it in acute hemic hypoxia. The mechanism of the КВ-28 actoprotective action is due to the ability to improve the power supply of working muscles, normalize prooxidative-antioxydative balance, activate protein synthesis and eliminate metabolic acidosis.
