The dissertation work of devoted to experimental substantiation of application of combined cream-gel of glucosamine hydrochloride with chondroitin sulfate with camphor and menthol to optimize drug therapy of osteoarthritis. The optimal ratio of glucosamine hydrochloride and chondroitin sulfate 1: 1 in topical dosage form of a cream-gel, which causes expressed analgesic, antialterative, antiexudative moderate antiproliferative activity. Using light and electron microscopy proved a strong chondroprotective effect researched combination in the model of systemic steroid arthritis in rats and noted its positive impact on the content of biochemical parameters of connective tissue metabolism
