The thesis is devoted to the comparison of peculiarities of the influence of Corvitin and Lipoflavon on myocardial damage in experimental diabetes type I and type II with obesity (were modeled with streptozotocin, 50 mg/kg and 30 mg/kg respectively, in case of diabetes type II – at the basis of high energetic diet). The increasing levels of glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, C-reactive protein, leptin (at diabetes type II), atherogenic lipid fractions in blood, the disorganization of prooxidant/antioxidant balance, decreasing of the activity of mitochondrial enzymes in myocardium, accompanied with histological evidence of myocardial damage, an imbalance of the vegetative regulation of heart activity, reduction of animals’ exercise tolerance were observed at diabetes. Corvitin and, to a greater extent, Lipoflavon demonstrate high cardioprotective activity in a case of diabetic cardiomyopathy. They restore the prooxidant/antioxidant balance in myocardium, functional state of the autonomic regulation of the heart, attenuate morphological changes in myocardium, increase animals’ exercise tolerance, restore the parameters of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, a balance between the pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines, reduce leptin and C-reactive protein levels in blood.
