Essay

The thesis is focused on developing a set of economic-mathematical models of logistics processes at an enterprise. The set includes the models for forecasting demand for products, the model of production logistics, the models of supply logistics resources, the models of product distribution. The developed set of economic-mathematical models enables gradually explore the logistical processes, expose their interconnections, contribute to the increase of profits by optimizing logistics costs on production, management of inventory and resources and costs on sales of the finished products. Implementation of economic-mathematical methods and models of logistics processes in business practice enables companies to significantly reduce costs and increase thereby profitability of the funds invested in business, which, in the aggregate, have a positive impact on profitability of investment and company competitiveness in the marketplace. The research describes theoretical and methodological foundations of economic-mathematical modeling logistics processes at an enterprise, which highlight their nature, mathematical formalization and practical implementation with tools of the modern information technology. The study discloses the scientific category logistics system of enterprise, reflects its integrity, the need for good governance, based on the optimization of the company's costs in the management of material flows on the entire enterprise. The research was conducted by making use of the optimization approach and involving the econometric and simulation methods. The thesis analyzes the logistic approach to management, highlights the internal and external logistics processes of the company, and develops a scheme of interaction of the elements of logistics systems at the enterprise.
