Essay

The thesis is devoted to studying the impact of body weight factor for adaptation of students in the first year of study, which revealed features of adaptive reactions investigated contingent. It was revealed that adaptation of female students belonging to study groups to the educational process was effective for it was accompanied with positive modifications of the state of the central nervous system. Effective adaptation of female students who had excessive or otherwise insufficient body weights was reached due to mobilization of the resources of the cardiovascular system as well as enhancement of the energy consumption by organism, and indices of the functional condition of the cardiovascular system as well as interrelations between appropriate indices of cardiovascular and central nervous system were evidences of this. Difference in functional condition of cardiovascular system in case of female students who had excessive or otherwise insufficient body weights versus whose who had normal ones showed higher "physiological price" of adaptation of the former compared to the latter. Changes of the condition of the connective tissue membranes and muscular elements in the walls of small intestine as well as change in the leucocytes spectrum within the own plate of the mucous membrane witnessed of inflammatory response in the small intestine. Its inflammation in combination with psychic and emotional stress of the persons to have excessive body weights is to deepen negative changes in the functioning of the cardiovascular system even more.
