Essay

The development of genre painting in Transcarpathian region of Ukraine in 1945–1991 in the context of Ukrainian soviet fine art is investigated in the dissertation. New possibilities of understanding fine art in all its forms and from different conceptual positions have opened up in the time of independence of Ukraine. In this context, the analysis of the individual genres of painting is freed from the artificial ideological appraisals, which allows the researchers of the national art to take a fresh look at these spheres of professional activity in Ukraine.
