The dissertation is devoted to theoretical generalization and a new approach to solve the psychological and pedagogical problem of formation of healthy lifestyle of pupils of 6-9 grades in the process of sports and local history work in out-of-school educational institutions. Within the conceptual and categorical apparatus, the content of a main integrated concept of "formation of healthy lifestyle of pupils of 6-9 grades in the process of sports and local history work in out-of-school educational institutions" is defined. The essence of this concept is considered as a single, logical and complementary process, there is an interaction between its main participants - of pupils of 6-9 grades, their parents, and teachers of out-of-school educational institution based on principles of equality, partnership and mutual respect. Mutual understanding and mutual assistance in achieving the goals and specific objectives of individual or collective sport and local history work, which is aimed at grown-up person's self-actualization and self-identity, have been emphasized. The essence of components (intellectual, emotional and essential, active) criteria (cognitive, motivational, active) and its indicators and levels of formation of healthy lifestyle of pupils of 6-9 grades in the process of sports and local history work in out-of-school educational institutions (low, medium, sufficient) have been developed. Theoretical foundations are proved as well as a classification of the leading principles of design of both individual and collective sports and local history work by pupils of 6-9 grades in out-of-school educational institutions aimed at forming their healthy lifestyle, namely general and didactic, specific educational principles of and principles of national education. Based on systematization and generalization of the theoretical foundations of this study, the hypothetical level of a grown-up person's healthy lifestyle in the context of different educational, spiritual, moral, developmental, social, and adaptive environments, have been developed and approved. They are: individual; environs - family, relatives, friends, and representatives of children's subculture; student and teaching staff of general school and out-of-school educational institutions; community; society. Both traditional and interactive forms and methods of implementation of the educational content of sport and local history of pupils of 6-9 grades in out-of-school educational institutions have been characterized in the context of sport, health-saved, health-improving and local history directions. Moreover, efficient educational means of pupils of 6-9 grades in sport and local history work in out-of-school educational institutions directed at the formation of their healthy lifestyle have been disclosed and characterized. For the purpose of the effective solving of psychological and educational problem, methodic for formation of healthy lifestyle of pupils of 6-9 grades in the process of sports and local history work in out-of-school educational institutions is theoretically proved and experimentally tested. The essence of this methodic is interpreted as a complex hierarchal logically interrelation between integrated and differentiated educational content, healthy-saved forms, methods and methodological tools for its implementation and the corresponding pedagogical conditions of application aimed at achieving common goals and specific objectives of formation of studied phenomenon based on the child-centered principles. The essence of the top three levels of application of the author's methodic of for formation of healthy lifestyle of pupils of 6-9 grades in the process of sports and local history work in out-of-school educational institutions is defined. These levels are: the first level - propaedeutic, the second level - primary, the third level - creative and prognostic that determines at each of these levels of psychological and pedagogical mechanisms of formation of pupils' stable internal motivation to a healthy lifestyle. Expediency of implementation of principle of active character of educational content of sports and local history work at every levels of implementation of the developed techniques is validated. The pedagogical conditions as not only the constituent, but also the conditions of implementation of methodic for formation of healthy lifestyle of pupils of 6-9 grades in the process of sports and local history work in out-of-school educational institutions are defined and characterized. The pedagogical effectiveness of the author's methodic for formation of healthy lifestyle of pupils of 6-9 grades in the out-of-school educational institutions is experimentally tested. Developed and implemented into the educational process of the out-of-school educational institutions were the educational materials on formation of healthy lifestyle of pupils of 6-9 grades in the process of sports and local history work.
