Essay

The thesis considers the scientific justification of content formation process of legal education of students (second half of XX - beginning of XXI century); the source database of the identified problem is analyzed, on the basis of the author's criteria there have been singled out three successive stages of the development of the historiography problem of the content formation of legal education of students in Ukraine during the study period. It is defined theoretical foundations and conceptual and categorical apparatus of the content investigation of legal education in pedagogical science and in the system of related science research issues. The analysis of the content of school course in law, forms is carried out (lesson, legal workshop, business game, tour etc.), methods (conversation, explanation, discussion, debate, work with the workbook, presentation, legal assignment, "the case method", "brainstorm", web quest, etc.) receiving legal education in secondary schools during the study period (second half of XX - beginning of XXI century).
