Yefanova T. Modeling of development processes at the regional level

Dissertation is dedicated to the development of methodological approaches and practical recommendations on modeling the process of building an effective development strategy for the region. The paper summarizes the theoretical approaches and schemes for managing development processes to form an effective strategy for the development of the region and updated the interpretation of the concept of "regional development strategy." The analysis of conceptual approaches on the evaluation and improvement of development processes for the formation of an effective regional strategy was carried out, which allowed developing a generalized scheme for the process of solving this problem, which has a fairly branched and complex structure. In this scientific work, an integral model for the formation of an effective regional development strategy is developed, which is distinguished by the combination of the mathematical apparatus of the theory of convergence to determine trends and factors of changes in regional unevenness, expert methods and instruments of fuzzy logic to take into account the qualitative aspect of development, Kohonen's self-organizing maps for typological ordering of areas and methods Optimization for the formation of a balanced portfolio of projects. The author developed proposals on the practical use of the proposed conceptual approach to solving the problem of modeling development processes at the regional level and carried out its approbation on the example of a specific region.
