Yakymova O. The Image of Human Being in the Monumental Art of Eastern Halychyna of the First Third of 20th c.

The thesis deals figurative and stylistic research in the figurative image of new socio-psychological type Human Being in the work of artists-monumentalists of first third of the twentieth century, who worked in Eastern Halychyna. Analysis of the main typological groups of images considering thattime philosophical and life principles, social and political situation in Eastern Halychyna, was based on the artistic features of art trends that were common, developed and interacted on Halician location at its appointed time. This scientific work is a recent attempt to show the art process holistically, including the legacy of artists of different nationalities and religions, to understand the image and figurative line the number of greatest monumental art pieces, particularly painting and sculpture. According to the reaserched typological characteristics of Human images we could make a conventional classification into comprehensive three main groups of images, that are describing anthropocentric orientation of art, including monumental one.
