In dissertation work the content of the concept «professional honor» is revealed; the criteria and indicators of the levels of formation of professional honor are determined; the psychological and pedagogical conditions of education of professional honor of future teachers in the process of pedagogical preparation are substantiated; an experimental program of education of professional honor has been developed and approved. In the first chapter «Theoretical conditions of education of professional honor for future teachers» the tendencies of development of categories «honor» and «professional honor» are revealed in researches of scientists. The intrinsic and component analysis of professional honor as important characteristic of personal vocational training of future teachers is carried out. The main determinants of education of professional honor of future teachers are defined. It was established that the problem of education of honor was the subject of studying both foreign and domestic scientists. The study of the views of scientists on the component composition of the phenomenon under investigation has led to the conclusion that the structure of professional honor includes cognitive, emotional, value and activity components, through which the content and specificity of the definition of «professional honor» are revealed. It is grounded that professional honor as a moral quality is determined by moral education, a sense of self-esteem, a humanist orientation of personality and professional qualities, a culture of communication and a tolerant attitude to others, responsible attitude towards the fulfillment of professional duties, which, in turn, affect the process of professional training future specialists. The development of professionally meaningful personal qualities is one of the conditions for professional development and self-development of the teacher. Among the professionally significant qualities of the teacher, an important place belongs to the professional honor, which is interpreted as a personality-professional neoplasm, which integrates the personal and professional qualities of the teacher, which are manifested in the process of performing their professional duties, determine a decent behavior in accordance with their social status and profession, as well as undergo a public assessment and recognition. In the second chapter «State education of professional honor students during their teacher training» methods of studying the level of education of professional honor of future teachers on the basis of established criteria (meaningful-awareness, personality-value, operational-behavioral) with corresponding indicators are selected. The task of the confirmatory experiment was to identify the levels of (high, medium, low) formation of structural components (cognitive, emotional, value and behavioral) education of professional honor. The empirical study of the state of education of professional honor revealed an inadequate level of education of this phenomenon, which is confirmed by the results of the study. The recorded indicators of the level of education of the professional honor of the students indicate that the vast majority of respondents have an average and low levels of education. This led to the necessity of creating an experiment-experimental program for the education of professional honor as an important personality-professional quality of the future teacher. In the third chapter «Experimental work of education of professional honor future teachers» the psychological and pedagogical conditions of education of students 'professional honor in the process of their studies at the higher school are determined and substantiated, namely: orientation of the contents of educational disciplines to the activization of students' knowledge about the peculiarities and the manifestation of professional honor; use of tasks directed at the education of professional honor in the process of passing a pedagogical practice; enriching the educational space with dialogical interaction, creating situations of success and cooperation, introducing innovative methods, forms, means of elevating the personality with a sense of honor; development of professional motivation, moral and value orientations; ability to reflect; the formation of responsibility for the results of training. The experimental program of the education of professional honor of future teachers as an important personality-professional quality has been developed and tested.
