Object: the process of the value system development of young students; the aim: to meaningfully develop, theoretically ground and experimentally verify the pedagogical conditions of the value system formation of young students by means of martial arts; methods of research: analysis, synthesis, generalization of philosophical, sociological, psychological, pedagogical literature on the question of value system formation of young students to determine the basic concepts of the research; generalization and systematization for the scientific and theoretical grounds of the pedagogical conditions of the value system formation of young students by means of martial arts; empirical: observation, conversation, questionnaire, survey, testing, pedagogical experiment (ascertaining and formative); statistical methods for processing the received experimental data and verification of their authenticity; novelty: for the first time, the pedagogical conditions of the value system development of young students are scientifically grounded and experimentally verified; the concepts of "value" and "value systems" of young students in the context of martial arts classes, the types of value systems of young students, that can be formed by means of martial arts, the specific character of the value system formation by means of martial arts, the criteria, indicators and levels of value system formation of young students are specified; the scientific ideas about the educational opportunities of martial arts in shaping the value systems of young students, about the peculiarities of building sports classes of martial arts in the context of influence on the personality of a young person obtained further development; results: the effectiveness of the introduction of the pedagogical conditions into the educational process for value system development of young students by means of martial arts is developed, experimentally proved and implemented; the author's special course "Oriental Philosophical Schools: Spiritual and Corporal" and "The program of involving young students in martial arts classes” are developed and implemented; branch - Theory and Methods.
