The dissertation is devoted to the issue of university student's music education activities as the educational condition for person's self-realization. The objective of the research is to develop and to substantiate the educational conditions, content, forms and methods of music education student's activities that ensure successful students self-realization. In the work content and structure of the concepts of "musical education" and "student self-realization" are disclosed; content, functions and peculiarities of educational influence of musical education activity on students' self-realization are solved; criteria, indicators and levels of self-realization of students in extra-curricular musical education activities are determined. The research results demonstrate the practical significance. The scientific value is confirmed by the developed and implemented scientific and methodological program for music teachers "Extracurricular Music Education Activities". The structural-functional model of music education activities that affects the formation of students' self-realizations is suggested. The methodological recommendations "The Student Self-realization in the Music Education Activity" are developed and tested. The results of scientific research allowed to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm for extracurricular music education activity which aimed the formation of students' self-realization.
