Object of study: the process of ensuring the effectiveness of the socio-economic and institutional aspects of the gender policy of Ukraine. Purpose: development of theoretical positions, methodological approaches and development of recommendations for ensuring the effectiveness of socio-economic and institutional aspects of gender policy in Ukraine. Methods of study: the method of structural analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, structural-logical analysis, statistical analysis, modeling and grouping, optimization, comparative analysis, cluster analysis, economic-mathematical and simulation modeling. Scientific novelty: improved: conceptual-categorical apparatus of socio-economic and institutional aspects of gender policy in Ukraine; methodical approach to the grouping of regions of Ukraine in terms of economic activity and gender inequality in the labor market; scientific and methodical approach to prediction and regulation of gender inequality; scientifically substantiated proposals for a gender-differentiated approach to ensuring optimal proportions of the male and female labor resources in the labor market of Ukraine; got further development: scientific substantiation of proposals on the classification of causes of gender segregation; proposals for optimizing the utility function of households by taking into account the time spent on homework; systematization of instruments for socio-economic and institutional provision of gender policy regulation taking into account international experience; socio-economic and institutional directions of ensuring gender parity in Ukraine.
