Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the experimental justification of the use of gel with nanoparticles of silver and glucosamine (NPAg+GA) to improve the efficiency of treatment wounds and infectious and inflammatory skin diseases. As a result of screening of experimental gels of different composition was determined that the most promising is a gel that contains a nanocomposite of silver with polyvinylpyrrolidone, corresponding to 0.1 % pure silver and 1.0 % glucosamine. On the model of an infected wound, this sample surpassed others in antimicrobial, antioxidant action, influence on cytokine-dependent mechanisms of inflammation regulation and histological evaluation of the quality of newly formed tissue. In-depth pharmacological study (on various models of the inflammatory and wound process), that the gel-leader is superior to the reference preparation containing 1.0% of silver sulfadiazine by the expressiveness of anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and wound healing activity has been identified. Healing effect of gel NPAg+GA is due to the multi-vector effect on the healing process: reduction of microbial contamination, suppression of the inflammatory-destructive process, acceleration of granulation and epithelization processes, which is due to the synergism of pharmacological properties its components.
