Essay

The following thesis presents a theoretical generalization and a solution to the question of upbringing of senior pupils’ culture of communication in the multicultural environment, which allowed to determine and scientifically substantiate the pedagogical conditions of the ensuring this process, to develop a model for the implementation of the pedagogical conditions in the educational process of institutions of general secondary education. The culture of communication is understood as a complex of sufficiently formed structural components of it: knowledge in the field of communicative disciplines (psychology, pedagogy, conflict science, logic, rhetoric, culture of speech, etc.); communicative and organizational abilities; ability to empathy, dialogue; developed self-control, emotional intelligence; knowledge of national distinctive qualities of communicative norms, culture of verbal and non-verbal interaction, etc. The essence of the culture of communication is the system of internal resources, which are necessary for creating effective communication in a certain range of situations of interpersonal interaction.
