Turianska M. The training of future teachers of Physical Education to group sports activities in comprehensive schools in Ukraine (the second half of the XX- the first half of the XXI century)

The thesis deals with the investigation of training of future Physical Education teachers to group sports activities in comprehensive schools in Ukraine (the second half of the XX - the first half of the XXI century). The process of the theory and practice development of future Physical Education teachers' training to group sports activities in comprehensive schools in Ukraine (the second half of the XX - the first half of the XXI century) has been investigated on the basis of holistic analysis for the first time. The author's periodization of the process has been given: the first period (1960-1990) and the second period (1991 - 2011). The peculiarities of contents, methods and forms of future Physical Education teachers' training to group sports activities in comprehensive schools in Ukraine in the given period have been defined. Their effectiveness proved the graduates' readiness to group sports activities organization on the basis of the obtained general, pedagogical, cultural and language skills and abilities as well as professional and pedagogical qualities; professional knowledge, skills and attitude to group sports activities organization in national comprehensive schools; acknowledgement of personal responsibility for professionalism in group sports activities organization with pupils. The concepts of "future Physical Education teachers' training to group sports activities in comprehensive schools in Ukraine ( the second half of the XX - the first half of the XXI century)" and "future Physical Education teachers' readiness to group sports activities in comprehensive schools in Ukraine ( the second half of the XX - the first half of the XXI century)" have been redefined and specified. The forms of future Physical Education teachers' training to group sports activities organization in comprehensive schools in Ukraine in the given period have been improved.
