The thesis introduces a new approach to disclosing the system and structural parametrization of the lexico-semantic group "Evil" in modern Ukrainian, English and French with the help of formalized analysis of the nouns’ lexical and seme stocks. It allowed to arrange the register of the words denoting evil in three distantly related languages; model their lexico-semantic groups; construct the matrices presenting correlations between words and their meanings; define the place and role of each word in the semantic space of the languages under study; compare the structures of the lexico-semantic groups and describe their universal and nationally-cultural features.
