The thesis presents a complex study of the concept of bellicosity from the point of view of gender approach in modern French. The thesis outlines the theoretical basis for the study of the concept of bellicosity from the point of view of the gender approach; the definition of the term notion is clarified and it is delimited with adjacent terms; a comprehensive methodology for the study of the concept of bellicosity in modern French was developed; the structure of the concept of bellicosity with the allocation of its core and periphery on the material of modern French is determined; the model of the concept of bellicosity in the author's individual conceptual sphere on the material of the artistic texts by A. Nothomb has been reconstructed; the gender specifics of the implementation of the concept of bellicosity in the author's individual conceptual sphere of A. Nothomb is researched.
