Danilova L. Social and pedagogical conditions of formation of feeling of mercy at student’s youth in charity

Object of study is charitable work of students, subject of study is organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of a sense of mercy in student youth in the process of charitable activity, the aim of the study is theoretically substantiate and experimentally test socio-pedagogical conditions for forming a sense of mercy in student youth in the process of charitable activity;the following research objectives are defined: to carry out an analysis of scientific approaches to the identified problem and to generalize the meaning of the concepts of "mercy", "sense of mercy", "charitable activity", "moral and spiritual education of student youth";to determine and scientifically substantiate the socio-pedagogical conditions of forming a sense of mercy in student youth in the process of charitable activity; to develop criteria, indicators and to identify the levels of formation of a sense of mercy in student youth in the process of charitable activity;to develop the content, methods and means of forming a sense of mercy in student youth in the process of charitable work;to experiment experimentally determine the effectiveness of certain and scientifically based socio-pedagogical conditions for forming a sense of mercy in students in the process of charitable work; to solve the tasks, a set of methods has been used: theoretical - comparison of the positions of philosophical, pedagogical and sociological science in order to understand the essence of the basic concepts of research;synthesis and synthesis of scientific approaches and concepts in order to determine the content of the basic concepts of research and substantiation of social and pedagogical conditions for the formation of a feeling of mercy in student youth in the process of charitable activity;empirical - diagnostic (questionnaire, testing, included observation), which allowed to identify the real state of the formation of a sense of mercy in student youth in the process of charitable activity;prognostic (modeling expert evaluation) to determine the levels of formation of the feeling of mercy in students and the dynamics of their manifestation; pedagogical experiment (statement, forming, final stages) made it possible to check the effectiveness of organizational and pedagogical conditions for forming a sense of mercy for students in charitable activities; methods of mathematical statistics for determining quantitative and qualitative indicators of the formation of a sense of mercy among students; processing and graphic interpretation of the materials of the study, refinement of the conclusions; the scientific novelty of the obtained results of the research is that for the first time: socially-pedagogical conditions for forming the feeling of mercy in student youth in the process of charitable activity were developed, substantiated and experimentally validated;the essence and content of the concepts of "mercy", "charitable environment of a higher educational establishment", "charitable work of students", "moral and spiritual education of student youth" are defined; the criteria, indicators are determined and the levels of the formation of a sense of mercy in the students in the process of charitable activity are characterized; the content, methods and means of forming a sense of mercy in student youth in the process of charitable activity are revealed and characterized; content, forms and methods of forming a sense of mercy among students in the process of charitable activity.
