Zhovner V.Yu. Psychological peculiarities of tourism business specialists competitiveness development. – Manuscript. Dissertation for the academic degree of candidate of psychological sciences, specialty 19.00.10 – organizational psychology, economic psychology. – Kyiv National Trade and Economic University. – Kyiv, 2018. The dissertation presents a new solution of scientific problem which consists in substantiating the model of empirical research, determining the content of structural components, functional mechanisms and peculiarities of competitiveness manifestations, developing and practical testing of psychological program for professionals in tourism business. We carried out the analysis of theoretical and methodological approaches and developed the model of empirical research for the competitiveness of tourism business specialists. The model includes: organization of three stages research; theoretical and methodological basis; scientific approaches to the professional development of the individual; external and internal factors of competitiveness; psychodiagnostic tools for research, aimed at determining the motivational, professional, typological, social and individual psychological components. Such an author's approach provided the conducting of establishing and forming experiments, disclosing the content and features of tourism business professionals competitiveness manifestations. It has been determined that the competitiveness of tourism business specialists is an integral structural-functional organization functioning within the framework of five structural components: F-1 (Motivational); F-2 (Professional); F-3 (Typological); F-4 (Social) and F-5 (Individual-Psychological). An author's questionnaire of integral assessment of competitiveness on the determined components was developed and an expert survey was conducted. In the ascertaining experiment we determined the peculiarities of structural components manifestations and indications concerning the providing of psychological assistance to the subjects that gave us a possibility to develop an author's psychological program for the competitiveness of tourism business specialists development. We proved the efficiency of psychological program for competitiveness development during professional training which is manifested in a significant improvement in psychological characteristics of its structural components compared with the background and control data.
