Object of research: the process of sustainable social development. Purpose: scientific substantiation of organizational and economic principles of ensuring effective health care as a component of sustainable social development of Ukraine. Methods: critical analysis and synthesis, abstraction and synthesis, formal-logical, dialectical, systemic and problem-oriented, partial goals, analysis of statistical data and data of sociological surveys, financial and economic analysis, economic-comparative, sociological survey, structural and functional. Novelty: for the first time, organizational and economic principles for effective health care have been developed, including the improvement of investment mechanisms and the development and preservation of labor potential; improved the theoretical model of strategic provision of health care efficiency, a method for analyzing the availability of effective health care, the use of which, unlike the existing approaches, made it possible to combine objective and subjective indicators of accessibility, as well as a methodology for analyzing the financing of the health protection sphere in Ukraine, the theoretical foundations of the development and use of the labor potential of the health sector, scientific provisions on the content of threats that may arise in connection with the integration of elements of ensuring effective health care into the strategy of sustainable social development of the state, definition of the concepts "sustainable development", "sustainable social development", "ensuring the effectiveness of health care". Scope of application: in the activities of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and local self-government bodies in integrating elements of effective health care into the strategy of sustainable social development, as well as in the system of vocational training and advanced training of the guards of security institutions health, students of economic specialties.
