Vasinova N. Higher education institutions’ management theory development (the last quarter of the XX century - the beginning of the XXI century) in Ukraine

Object: theory of registration by higher educational institutions; purpose: to find out the peculiarities and trends of the theory of management of higher educational institutions in Ukraine in the last quarter of the XX - the beginning of the XXI century; methods: theoretical: the analysis of scientific literature, normative documents on the management of higher educational institutions, technical and financial reports, the period of periodization, the method of content analysis; empirical: eccppt evaluations (method of ranking), table-graphic methods, generalization method; Novelty: the peculiarities of the ideas of scientists from 1976 - 2016 on the essence of the theory of university management were systematized and the place of these scientific developments in the historical development of the theory of management of higher educational institutions is determined, the essence and structural components of the basic concept are outlined; the criteria and indicators for the analysis and evaluation of the development of the management theory of higher educational institutions of the mentioned period were substantiated and the preconditions for its development were determined; the method of constructing the periodization of the investigated phenomenon is improved, the stages, features and general tendencies of the theory of management of higher educational institutions are distinguished; got further development of scientific ideas about trends and development of the theory of university management in Ukraine; branch - theory and methodology of education management
