Buklov Y. National-patriotic education of adolescent school pupils within extracurricular and out-of-school activities (late XX - early XXI centuries)

The thesis covers basic concepts under research, studies regulations and guidelines for the national-patriotic education of pupils within extracurricular and out-of-school activities (late XX - early XXI centuries). It defines "national-patriotic education of adolescent school pupils" as a historical and pedagogical phenomenon. It has been proved that modern national-patriotic education of adolescent pupils is an axiological category and a topical issue predetermined by socio-political conditions and modernization of the Ukrainian educational and upbringing system. Being aware of the priority of the national-patriotic education, scholars call attention to its content aspects, focusing on the formation in school youth of high civic qualities and patriotism, which is a complex process and a principal construct, on the one hand, and a leading factor in the hierarchy of values, on the other.
