Shytikova S. Implementation of the European Union Programmes of International Cooperation as a Mechanism for Higher Education Internationalisation in Ukraine

The general approaches to higher education reform projects management have been identified, target groups of beneficiaries - academic and non-academic partners, priorities in the context of higher education reforms pursuant to the national and institutional challenges, curricula development, university governance modernisation and strengthening cooperation between higher education and society at large were characterised. Specific peculiarities and the tendencies of the implementation of the international cooperation EU programmes on the higher education reforms as a mechanism for the higher education internationalisation have been identified. The model for the implementation of the EU Programmes of international cooperation as a system, multicomponent mechanism for higher education internationalisation in Ukraine is developed and justified. Recommendations for the improvement of the effectiveness of the EU Programmes projects realisation as a mechanism for higher education internationalisation at the national and institutional levels have been formulated at the policy, legislation, institutional, managerial and organisational levels.
