The dissertation is devoted to the problem of solving the scientific and technical task concerning the improving of the efficiency of motor transport enterprises by improving the structure of production units, depending on the volume of maintenance and repair of automobiles. The method of determination of the expediency and functioning of production departments for maintenance and repair of automobiles in ATE is developed. It is based on the mathematical model of the estimation of efficiency of production units operation taking into account volumes of executed works.
