The dissertation is the first comprehensive research of inclusive education in secondary schools in Malta (the second half of the XX – the beginning of XXI century). Three periods of the development of inclusive education in secondary schools in Malta (the second half of the XX – the beginning of XXI century) are defined in accordance with the criteria (the attitude of society to students with special educational needs; results of scientific comprehension and generalization of the problem; character of the decision of organizational issues of inclusive education in the researching period; practical experience of introducing inclusive education in the country).
