The dissertation is devoted to the research on the management of the director informational culture development of a comprehensive educational institution in postgraduate education and on this basis the development and verification of the effectiveness model of development informational culture process at advanced training courses, in the intercultural period and in the process of self-education.
The conceptual provisions concerning the growth of the role of information, which are reflected in the Laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On Informatization", "On Information Protection in Automated Systems", "On the Concept of the National Program of Informatization", "On the National Program of Informatization" and others, are analyzed. It actualizes the problem of managing the of school principal informational culture development at a general educational institution, capable to do professional tasks effectively in the modern informational space.
Informational culture is important for every educator. The teacher must understand the role that he can play in shaping the student personality as a person of informational civilization. Teacher, who owns such a culture, must form students informational culture.
Therefore, for the education system, the organization of informational education and the director informational culture improvement is a matter of first priority and the directors themselves become key figures, who primarily affect the level of informational culture increase of all participants in the educational process.
To stimulate the taste for systematic application of informational and communicational and innovative pedagogical technologies, multimedia and the Internet in everyday life have become a priority task of comprehensive educational institutions.
The development of the informational culture of the school principal is a problem, the success of which depends to a large extent on the effectiveness of the functioning of a comprehensive educational institution.
Analyzing the work of scientists, it can be noted that the informational culture formation and enhancement of educational institutions staff in the era of human transition to the information society is a prerequisite for their professional culture formation. The problem is focused not on broadening and improving the knowledge level of a specialist, but on the development of abilities to find the necessary information, analyze it and implement it in its practical activity, react promptly to the innovative experience, as well as design, create, test innovations experimentally, and be able to disseminate them purposefully. However, these questions are studied by scientists in the general theoretical framework.
